Victoria Calhoun Grain Company’s concrete elevator was built in the mid-1950’s to serve the farmers of Victoria and Calhoun counties.  Over the years, additional tanks have been added to bring our capacity to almost 2 million bushels.  With the addition of the rail siding and scale in the 1990’s, our business expanded to include neighboring counties as well as international business to Mexico.  In 1991 a group of local farmers bought the elevator and operated it for 20 years.  In 2012 Victoria Calhoun Grain Company was sold to Brett Mock.  Mr. Mock incorporated his 400,000 bushel facility at McFaddin into Victoria Calhoun Grain Company, Inc., thereby increasing the storage capacity and the customer base.  With an eye toward the future, the company has plans to expand its operations both locally and internationally.
